PRELUDE

The 488 metres long, 74 metres wide, FLNG floating liquefied natural gas vessel will float in waters off the North-Western coast of Australia. The largest offshore facility ever constructed. Start building 2012. Completed 2017 for 25 years. Fully loaded a capacity of 600.000 tons. The "PRELUDE" left Samsung on 29-6-2017 and arrived 25-7-2017 at its location. 2018 cargo testing with the Gallina and Methane Mickie Harper. Started production on 25-12-2018. In June 2019 the Valencia Knutsen loaded the first cargo.
