Three new T-class ships and ACAVUS.

The first to enter Stasco's fleet on 18 May was the 115,000-dwt products carrier TANEA, whose sister vessel TORONIA will be added in JULY. Later follows the TROCHUS. The tankers built at South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries and will be flagged in the Isle of Man. The newbuildings owned by Viken Shipping of Norway are taken on long-term bareboat charter.

The next to enter will be the 12,000-dwt Acavus, a products-chemicals carrier built at South Korea's Samho shipyard. When it comes in at the end of this month, it will be flagged in the Isle of Man and classed with Lloyds Register.

Stasco staffs and manages 20 crude and products carriers and 23 LNG units.
