I sailed aboard the shell tanker ship Axina between 15th june 1959 and 20th October 1959. I enjoyed my brief trip immensly as it appeared to me like a luxery liner especially after experiencing living in the cramped and crowded cabins of the Queen Mary.
I worked below in the engine/boiler room.
I really enjoyed the company of all the crew who were so helpful and friendly. I would like to make contact with any of them again or indeed anyone who sailed on the Axina after I left. I was really sorry after I had left but I had to do so for domestic reasons. PLEASE CONTACT ME
