Hello, my name is Jackie, born in 1963 in Amsterdam. I have great memories of the Litiopa. My first boyfriend and true love Andrew did work on the Litiopa for Shell. I met Andrew in 1978 and we were in love untill he died very sudden in 2000, only 39 years old. I even wrote a book about our love story with the Dutch title 'Tussen afscheid en weerzien'. Anyway I spend two days on the Litiopa, I still remember the date! 5 & 6 june 1983. I can't tell you all the details about what did happen when Andrew and I were alone in his cabin ..... haha, but I can tell you that I will never ever forget the time on the Litiopa when Andrew did show me around this tanker while it was in the harbour at Rotterdam. I still have an old postcard with the Litiopa on it, along with 500 letters that Andrew did sent me from all over the world. Handwritten letters instead of emails, I am so happy to have all those letters! It would be a dream come true to see the Litiopa one more time.
